Beside coal-fired power project and coal-fired project, CLP India will set up a wind power project. In the coal-fired project in Jhajjar, Haryana, CLP will invest Rs 3,900 and from here it will produced 1,320 Mw energy and the gas-based power project will set up in Gujarat where its first plant located, by investing Rs 4,000 crore. From the wind power project of Gujarat , Rajasthan and Karnataka will produce 450 Mw.
“We are in discussions with Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) for gas supplies from the KG-D6 basin and also talking to other gas suppliers to ensure fuel linkage for the second phase of Paguthan. We hope to start construction during this year,” he said.
For the gas project and coal-fire project they have to fine the suppliers. I thin this will emission more carbon dioxide. But the CLP’s previous plant that set up in 2002, a modern combined cycle plant in Village Paguthan, Gujarat . But I am very hopeful for the wind power project for environment.
